Our charges are based on the number of overnights a dog is in our care. We do not up-charge for weekends and holidays and we do not charge for partial days. For example, if you drop your dog(s) off at 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon are return to pick them up at 7 p.m. Sunday evening, the charge is for 2 nights. Doggie daycare is also available if you are going to be gone for extended day hours but are able to return home in the evenings. Medication administration is free of charge.
Reservation Cancellation/Change Policy:
Beginning November 1, 2009 changes made to your reservation must be made 48 hours in advance. This includes arrival dates later than reserved, departure dates earlier than reserved, and cancellations. Changes made less than 48 hours in advance will result in charges for the original reservation.
Our standard size kennels (24 sq. ft.) are $16 per night. If you have multiple dogs you want housed together, each additional dog is $8. Our double sized kennels (48 sq. ft.) are $22 per night and again if you have multiple dogs to be housed together each additional dog is $8. Day care rates are $12 for the first dog and $6 for each consecutive dog in a standard size kennel and $17 for the first dog and $6 for each dog kenneled in the same double sized kennel.
Cat care is $10 per night. Additional cats housed together are $5 per night for each additional cat.
One 15 minute pet sitting visit per day is $15. One half hour visit per day is $25. If you require additional visits, please contact Cindee for rates.
Holiday fees for pet sitting will be two times the regular fee. The holidays included are: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day morning, Easter morning, Fourth of July evening, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day morning.
A 48 hour notice is required if changes are to be made in your pet sitting reservation.
Cindee will pick up your pet from your home and transport it to the kennel for $15. When your return from your time away, she will also return your pet to your home for $15. She will transport pets to vetrinary or grooming appointments for $25 per hour. Destinations more than 10 miles from Alexandria are billed at $0.52 per mile.
